Monday, August 29th

Go back to Navajoland

Of return on the Campus, we took back the class. At noon: course on tables in Web Development then course on adjustment layers and tools of retouch in Web Design. We also prepared a precise schedule we have to present to our students the evening, in order to be well organized.

Tuesday, August 30th

Meet with the President of Diné College

Ferlin Clark

In the morning, we met the President of Diné College, Mr Ferlin Clark. We offered him two presents : one book on photos of Paris, and an other book on the french food... both translated in English !

In the evening, we went to the closest store of the Campus of Tsaile, which is at 35 minutes by walk.

Wednesday, August 31th

Softball evening

Today, Melvin (a nice student Navajo we met since our arrival) cooked Fry Bread for us, a Navajo bread which is very good!

In the evening, we played Softball with students of the Campus. Evening enlivened, with good hamburgers and hot-dogs.

Thursday, September 1st

Excursion to Chinle

This morning, during the Web Design course, Hondro realized a poster on boxing, that permitted him to review all the tools seen before on the software Photoshop. In the Web Development course, Dina reviewed the tables.

In the afternoon, Lisa brought us to Chinle, to do shopping before the weekend. Indeed, we have planed to visit the Grand Canyon with our two friends Denisa and Christopher.

Friday, September 2nd

Tsaile Lake

Ordinary day on the Campus. In the late afternoon, we went to Tsaile Lake by walk. The lake is located near to the Campus, in a large and beautiful prairie, very quiet.

Saturday, September 3rd

Depart for the Grand Canyon

This morning, we organized courses to make up the lost time last week. This afternoon, we are going to the Grand Canyon for all the weekend, et we will be back on monday evening (monday is the Labour Day). Thus, the diary will be update on tuesday. Have a good weekend!

Sunday, September 4th

Grand Canyon

We arrived at the Grand Canyon in the late morning. We spent all the afternoon gazing the scenery, which could be the eighth wonder of the world! In the evening, we camped in woods near to the Grand Canyon. We had a beautiful evening, it was just a little bit cold.
